Dance Company, at SDCA, is our training program for students interested in receiving advance dance training and/or working towards becoming a professional dancer. Students in this program take at least 8 hours of dance class each week in a variety of styles of dance. They participate in public performances, training conventions, master classes, and competitions to further extend their experience.
Twenty-seven members strong this team is cast as a variety of smaller groups to provide a professional theatrical experience. We do, however, assign students to levels during auditions and as the progress throughout the year. Levels are used to maximize their training experience through focus and to set achievable goals that helps build their confidence. Present levels include the following:

| H.O.T.T.S.
"Here's Our Top Teens at Showtime", or HOTTS, is the level we use for our older and most advanced students. These students participate in all of our advanced classes, typically dance 5-6 days per week, and are expected to be role models for our other student's. Currently, we have four awesome student's that have achieved this level.

Sisters
"Sisters" is our level for students who are understudying to be a part of HOTTS. These students participate in many advanced classes typically dancing 5-6 days per week. Currently, we have three gifted students that have achieved this level.

| Velocity
"Velocity" is our core training level for our pre-teen and teen students with several years of dance experience. These students participate in a combination of intermediate and advanced classes typically dance 4-5 days per week. Currently, we have eight amazing student's that have achieved this level.

Excitement
"Excitement" is our core training program for our younger children starting at around eight years through pre-teens with several years of dance experience. These students participate in a combination of intermediate and advanced classes typically dance 4-5 days per week. Currently, we have six wonderful student's that have achieved this level.

| Babes
"Babes" is currently our youngest members of Dance Company. These six and seven year olds typically have 1-2 years of dance experience. Students at this level participate in specialized classes designed specifically for them to build a strong dance foundation typically dancing 2-3 days per week. Currently, we have six outstanding student's that have achieved this level.
